How is billing handled? Are you direct bill?

All policies are direct bill to the client. There are three payment options, which include monthly, three pay and full pay. There are also three methods of payment available, which include credit card, debit checking and by check or money order.

How are commissions calculated and paid?

Commissions are based on written premium and are paid in conjunction with the payment plan selected (if the customer pays the full premium, full commission will be paid; if the customer pays an installment, commission based on the installment will be paid).

Commissions are paid on the 15th of the month following premium and change booking.

In what states is GeoVera's earthquake coverage sold?

At the present time GeoVera only offers earthquake coverage for homes located in the states of California, Oregon and Washington.

How does GeoVera's Comprehensive policy compare to the California Mini-Policy?

Our Comprehensive policy offers much broader coverage than the typical "mini-policy". The Comprehensive policy is a combined single limit of coverage for the dwelling, other structures, personal property, and additional living expenses.

This policy comes with a 10% deductible (available in many locations), which is lower than the deductibles offered on the California Mini-Policy.
